From Sephora with love…

Non troppo tempo fa ho fatto un post per chiedervi un consiglio su cosa prendere da Sephora in occasione del mio compleanno. Ieri sera ho partecipato all’evento Gold Card di Sephora in Via del Corso a Roma e con l’occasione ho ritirato anche il mio regalo che per vostra sorpresa non è una palette né un rossetto, ma è una maschera e nello specifico la Color Control della Herborist. Ho preso anche un rossettino davvero carino, approfittando dello sconto del 20% e sono stata omaggiata anche di una beauty box, ma andiamo con ordine.

Not long ago I wrote a post asking you for some advice about my Sephora birthday present. Last night I was invited to Sephora for a Gold Card Event in Via del Corso in Rome and I finally had the time to have a look around. In the picture above you can see what I’ve chosen which isn’t a palette nor a lipstick but – just – a face mask from Herborist called Color Control. I’ve also bought a lovely lipstick I’ll tell you all about in a minute and I was given a beauty box, let’s start then…

Questa maschera mi è stata presentata con così tanta enfasi che alla fine ho deciso di provarla. Il costo al pubblico è di 39 Euro, io l’ho pagata solamente 9 Euro approfittando bel buono sconto per il mio compleanno di ben 30 Euro gentilmente offerto da Sephora che ringrazio. La maschera è bianca e piuttosto compatta ed ha un’alta concentrazione di estratti naturali (non è bio vi avviso subito) e polvere di perla per uniformare le discromie/irregolarità della pelle (macchie scure e arrossamenti) e ridare luminosità all’incarnato. Come sapete soffro di melasma e quindi non potevo non provarla…

Why I’ve chosen this mask? Easy, the lovely lady at Sephora introduced this mask to me as the best of the best and I at the end of the event I so wanted to try it on that I had to buy it! It costs 39 Euro, but I’ve only spent 9 Euro using my 30 Euro gift card. The mask is thick but has a soft texture with a high concentration of plant extracts and pearl powder to even out skin tone irregularities (brown spots, redness) and restore all of its luminosity. As you know I suffer from melasma so I had to try this  mircacle mask… 

Si applica uno strato generoso sulla pelle pulita, si massaggia (io non l’ho fatto) e si lascia in posa per 10 minuti, io l’ho lasciata per circa 15 minuti. Si risciacqua con acqua calda e con l’aiuto di una spugna. Per ottenere i migliori risultati si consiglia di applicare questa maschera almeno 3 volte a settimana per poi arrivare ad una sola volta a settimana.

Apply a thick layer on clean skin, massage and leave on for 10 minutes, I left it on my face for about 15 mins. Rinse with warm water and a sponge. You definetely need a sponge otherwise you won’t rinse it easily. Recommended frequency: 3 times a week to start, then at least once a week.

Mi scuso per le foto che sono davvero buffe lo so!!! Ci tengo a precisare però che non ho minimamente ritoccato né illuminato queste immagini. Detto questo, io onestamente vedo la pelle leggermente più chiara, voi? Guardate la mia fronte dove c’è il melasma e anche gli zigomi dove ci sono delle piccole macchioline più scure (grazie meli per tutto l’affetto). Ora sono davvero curiosa di vedere come sarà la mia pelle alla fine della settimana. Rifarò la maschera sabato e poi ancora lunedì e vi farò vedere sulla mia pagina facebook delle altre foto quanto prima possibile. Ci aggiorniamo…

I’m sorry for the photos that are really funny I know! lol Just to let you know…I haven’t edited these pics in any way nor used any filter. I honestly see my skin slightly lighter, you? Look at my face where my melasma is (forehead) and my cheekbones where there are little brown spots (meli thank you so much). I will apply this mask other 2 times before posting new pics on my Facebook page. I will keep you posted…

E ora passiamo al rossetto e alla beauty box. / And now let’s talk about the lipstick and the beauty box.

Questo rossettino è strepitoso, peccato che la gamma dei colori non sia poi così vasta. Ho scelto questo colore (sai che novità) e devo dire che sono davvero colpita dalla scrivenza e dall’intensità che in foto, credetemi, non rende. Non ho ancora avuto modo di indossarlo, ma non mancherà l’occasione e posterò sicuramente una foto su instagram o sulla mia pagina Facebook.

This lipstick is amazing, unfortunately there aren’t so many different shades available at the moment. I’ve chosen this one and I have to say that I’m impressed. The color is intense and richer than it appears in the pic above. I haven’t worn it yet, but don’t worry I’ll post a pic on my IG or on my Facebook page soon!
