Trends for Spring and Summer 2016

Looking at all of the hit fashion shows for spring/summer 2016 we have seen not only amazing outfits, but also the perfect make-up of the models. Hope you like it girls, you will be wearing it the entire season. From extravagant gold to soothing blue, make-up artist really stepped up their game, and though the looks were ideally complementing the wardrobe, some of them were so good, that we were so captivated and forgot to take a look below the face. If you have skipped your fashion weeks and really do not want to go through them all, here is a list of the best looks we have seen joined with the other beauty trends for the season.

Guardando le sfilate di moda per la primavera/estate 2016 non abbiamo ammirato solo dei meravgliosi abiti, ma anche dei trucchi bellissimi. Beh spero vi sia piaciuto quello che avete visto perché andrà di moda per tutta la stagione. Si va dallo stravagante oro al blu sfumato, i make-up artist hanno fatto un ottimo lavoro con look che si adattavano perfettamente all’outfit, alcuni erano così belli da catturare tutta l’attenzione che spesso ci si dimenticava di guardare cosa c’era sotto la faccia. Se vi siete persi le fashion weeks non dovete andare a guardarle ora perché ho selezionato per voi i migliori look e gli altri trend della stagione.

Bare-face trend has been popular for quite some time, and it does not seem to go away, but now it finally got its nemesis – maximal make-up look. There are no some distinctive features of this new trend, other than it is supposed to accentuate someone’s individuality in a striking manner. Everyone is allowed to find its own style in this vastness. At the runways, for instance, we have seen Giamba’s and Holly Fulton’s girls donning neon and glittery neon eyes, while Marni’s models were sporting spidery eyelashes. This is a great trend if you are still searching for yourself, but remember that it does not allow half-measures – go max!

Il nude look è popolare già da un po’ e sembra non passare mai di moda, ma adesso siamo arrivati al passo successivo. Non ci sono elementi distintivi in questo nuovo trend se non quello di accentuare il carattere di una persona in modo sorprendente. Ognuno è libero di trovare il proprio stile. Nelle sfilate, per esempio, abbiamo visto le modelle di Giamba e di Holly Fulton indossare il neon (anche glitterato), mentre le ragazze di Marni portavano le ciglia ad effetto ragno. Questo è sicuramente un trend della stagione se state ancora cercando la vostra strada, ma ricordate che non sono permesse le mezze misure – esagerate!

Good Guy make-up

For a long time, make-up has been something that, although makes us gorgeous, has a negative effect on our skin. Now, people from the beauty world are doing their best to make a healthier and more natural organic version of girl’s favorite addiction. Youngblood Cosmetics, for instance launched a mineral make-up line, which is free of additives and chemicals and does not cause irritation or allergies. Natural products that are not harming our skin are becoming more popular than ever, and just a couple of years ago, only people with extremely sensitive skin were using them.

Per molto tempo il make-up è stato qualcosa che, anche se ci rende più belle, aveva un effetto negativo sulla nostra pelle. Adesso chi lavora nell’industria del beauty sta facendo di tutto per rendere più salutari e naturali i prodotti più amati. Youngblood Cosmetics ad esempio ha lanciato sul mercato una linea minerale che è assolutamente priva di additivi e componenti chimici e non causa quindi irritazioni o allergie. I prodotti naturali che non sono dannosi per la nostra pelle stanno diventando sempre più popolari e pensare che solo fino a qualche anno fa, ne facevano uso solo le persone con la pelle particolarmente delicata.

Gold is the new Bold

Every year there is one of those striking trends that simply blow everyone away. This year that trend is Prada’s metallic gold lips. And we could not expect any less from a brand that keeps on experimenting and surprising us. It is no wonder that gold lips have become such a hit, since metallic is so popular for clothing, so we should have seen them coming. If you want to rock this trend, there are some things you should renounce, due to its conspicuousness, like painted eye or brow.

Ogni anno c’è sempre almeno un trend che colpisce più degli altri! Quest’anno quel trend sono le labbra oro metallizzato delle ragazze di Prada. E non potevamo aspettarci niente di meno da un brand che continua a sperimentare ed ad entusiasmare. Non dobbiamo quindi sorprenderci di questa novità, visto che il metallizzato è sempre stato utilizzato negli abiti. Se volete rendere particolare questo trend però, dovete fare a meno di truccare occhi e le sopracciglia.

The Gold Old Red

This year, red lipstick is basically used as an accessory, where it is aimed for the combo of no make-up and red lipstick. The most important thing about this look is that the skin should look fresh, glowing and well hydrated. Prepare your skin for the bare-red with an appropriate skincare routine.

…o potete semplicemente optare per il classico rossetto rosso. Il rossetto rosso non passerà mai di moda per nostra fortuna. Quest’anno però viene usato come accessorio ed il trend-combo è no make-up e red lips! La cosa più importante per realizzare questo tipo di trucco è quella di curare la pelle che deve apparire fresca, luminosa e ben idratata. Non dimenticativi quindi di preparare la pelle con una adeguata skincare routine.

Behind Blue Eyes

One of the most amazing trends of the year is blue color on the eyelid and there can be no better way to greet spring than by trying this look out. Of course, there are different varieties of the blue-trend. You can opt for nicely accentuated eyelids, as seen on Chanel’s and Missoni’s girls or you can paint your entire eyelids in odd shapes. The most amazing way to wear this style, however, is inspired by the ‘90s, and it means surrounding your eyes with electric blue liner. When you are wearing this trend, lipstick is out of the question, but you can use nude lip balm.

Una dei trend più belli quest’anno è l’utilizzo del blu sugli occhi e non c’è modo migliore per salutare la primavera che indossare questo genere di look (a chi piace ovviamente n.d.r.). Si può usare un solo accenno di blu come abbiamo visto sulle modelle delle sfilate di Chanel e Missoni o accentuare tutto l’occhio con questo colore. La soluzione migliore è quella di lasciarsi ispirare dagli anni 90 ed applicare quindi un eyeliner blu elettrico anche nella rima inferiore. Quando si indossa un look del genere, le labbra passano in secondo piano, ma potete indossare semplicemente un lip balm nude.

Punk’s Not Dead

If you think that punk (look) is dead, you are dead wrong and Creatures of the Wind created that look to prove it to you. This trend is all about dramatic eye make-up. And when we say drama, we mean drama – glittery eye shadow and dark aerodynamic cat-eye liner. Complement this trend with the punky bouffant hair for that special dose of attitude.

Se pensate che il (look) punk è morto, vi sbagliate di grosso, visto che Creature of The Wind ha creato questo look per provarvelo. Questo trend è basato tutto sul trucco (dramatic) degli occhi. E quando diciamo drama, intendiamo dire drama e quindi con glitter ed un forte eyeliner nero. Per completare il look ci vuole anche un’acconciatura di “carattere”.
